WWBCC..great thread.

I'll never forget in 97 when everyone was on Biggie's neck and the Source interviewed people like Heltah Skeltah...then he passed away the next month (March):sadbron:

Love

Tupac's musical proficiency and ability to communicate with an artist would of eventually made him a better producer than Dr. Dre

You can tell he was taking a humble and modest tone to them.

Seems like every rapper has his own Pac story to tell :wow:

Tupac and Buckshot were very close. If I'm not mistaken they were going to create an east coast/west coast super group. People front like Pac hated NY. He was from NY, even went by MC New York for a while. TBH, being old enough to remember Pac in his prime from late 93-97 no rapper has yet to touch his level. Seriously people always talk about he didn't blow up till DR but Pac was truly the biggest "Rockstar" in the world after Cobain died. That's the spirit that Weezy is trying to tap into with his Rocker/Skater persona. That's why he's black Elvis.

The way nikkaz talk after encountering Pac, you'd think them nikkaz just met with a Greek God or some shyt. The mythology is strong, on some Achilles type shyt.

Pac had a gift for connecting with people. It seems like everybody who crossed paths with him were touched in some profound way.

nikkaz always wanna leave those elements out when it comes to discussing his music. They say he wasn't "lyrical" or some basic shyt like that, but he had the power of connectivity. Not many artist can do that...no matter what genre. It's a Jamaican nikka out there right now who can write a better, more lyrical song than Bob Marley, but he can't express it with the same power & conviction as Bob.

You have to be born with it.It goes beyond some technical lyrical shyt. It's some soulful, spiritual shyt.Seeing the reactions of people who knew Pac, he was one of those kind of people
