Dru Hill is easily a top 3 R&B group that debuted after 1980. Agree or Disagree?

Unanimous top 3 since the 80s, New Edition, Boyz to Men and Jodeci. This isn't necessarily my top 3 either but its pretty much unanimous among most.

MY take:

Top 3 is a little bold.

Top 5 is closer.

Their 1st album was great, 2nd one was a classic. That's a tough task. Lotta groups in the 90's had some classics SINGLES, but couldnt make a classic album....

Dru Hill did everything well. Ballads, uptempos, etc.

Their downfall was Sisqo doing that solo album b/c they went like 3 years with no music as a group. And Sisqo being made fun of hurt their group image overall.

But when they came back with that 3rd album, it was dope. Missing some magic, but it was still very good.

They had a great 3-4 year run.
