Most pop artist don’t go 5 times platinum let alone R&B.

He had 1....1 album an that was it.
As a solo artist he failed but as the lead in dru hill he's great..

Johnny gill had a great album, classic album, but what stops him from bring a one hit wonder is that he had multiple hits on that album and a great song on the boomerang soundtrack.

But as solo artist he didny fair much better

I rock with both heavy but Boyz II Men was on another level from 92-94 .

If we stay on the topic and go by the listed tracks from OP , then Dru Hill had the better single. However, at the time, II , the album that included Water Runs Dry , was light years more successful than Enter The Dru .

Dru Hill has better replay value today but Boyz II Men had far greater success during their respective runs.

At the time were not making love came out, boys to men was pretty much finished and dru hill was THAT GROUP.

Boyz to men had a epic run from 92-to about 95...after that they kinda fell off...

Their next two albums were ok . I'd say they fell off by the time Enter The Dru was getting success.
B2M's gift and curse was their run from 92-95 . No way they could've topped that .I don't think we'll ever see that again from a Male R&B group . shyt was how big End Of The Road and On Bended Knee were .
