Monroe better get what he wants. If I see him in a different jersey next season someone gon' get hurt:wow:

Man fukk this train of thought. If we can upgrade this team by other means than maxing out a Center who we're going to have to play at the 4, I'd rather go that route. Moose is good, but he's not this all-world talent like he's being made out to be.

Something needs to happen though, I've been on my fiend shyt the past few days, scouring all outlets for any piece of Pistons news

Report: Detroit Pistons, Kings have discussed Josh Smith trade

One source insists nothing is imminent, so hold off on the leftover fireworks from Monday night.

But ESPN NBA insider Marc Stein is reporting that the Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings have discussed a trade that would send Josh Smith and his big, bad contract to the West Coast, which would certainly send some celebratory fireworks into the Detroit sky.

“One potential scenario, I’m told, would send Smith to Kings for Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams,” Stein tweeted. “Jason Terry might be another option”

“No word deal is imminent (yet) but Sacramento’s well-known fondness for Rajon Rondo would help explain Kings’ interest in his buddy JSmoove”

Smith is entering the second year of a four-year, $54 million contract signed last summer.

Smith, who likes taking shots and doesn’t like playing defense as much as he likes taking shots, averaged 16.4 points per game and 6.8 rebounds in his first season with the Pistons.

New head coach and president of basketball operations Stan Van Gundy backed Smith at his introductory press conference in May, when it seemed a lot less likely that the Pistons could move Smith and his big, bad contract than it does today.

It's one thing to take Josh Smith for us, but these goofy muhfukkas want to give us actual assets in return?
Pleas let this happen:blessed:

what good will it do us if we let go of Greg Monroe? Mind you there are PLENTY of teams that are willing to drop cash for this dude. Toronto being one of em.

I don't know about y'all but I've had enough of this teams bullshyt. There's no reason we can't at least break the 8th seed since this conference is trash right now
