This video pisses me off mainly cause i've been in those cops shoes more than a thousand times over a decade of bouncing and dealing with drunk/irate people that can't be reasoned with, and all i had was my hands and my wits to either neutralize them or get them out of dodge.

These cops are supposed to be government trained/paid agents with a whole tool belt of non lethal gadgets at their disposal, not to mention they have him out numbered 2vs1. The gun was always supposed to be the last option and they still had to resort to shooting him within 1 minute of confronting him. No mace, no baton, no taser, just fall to the ground like a bytch and pull out your gun.

Truth be told they could have used way more verbals before it even got to the physical if they weren't so gd aggressive right off the bat. The guy was already outside the venue and isolated from the main crowd. Dumb ass cops immediately came up all aggressive right from the jump, they wanted the action but wasn't really about it.

It's fukking pathetic man, if i had to kill every mean scary drunk dude that punched me or one of my partners i'd have more bodies than a prolific serial killer.

I got no respect for these cops nowadays, rely too heavily on their gun cause they don't use their wits, their non lethals, can't throw hands, and their too afraid to take an L.

Everyone in the wrong here but I don’t know too many that can justify punching a cop out COLD and then feeling like things are going to just work out in their favor.

At this point we know how trigger happy these badge wearing fools are.

And everyone saying the cops had dude outnumbered are clearly ignoring the women standing in the way of them. They should’ve went inside, let the cops handle it and dude would’ve been out of jail by Monday.

Nah man. Anyone who’s ever had police show up on a scene they were called out to knows no amount of “it’s ok he’s my brother” is gonna make the cops just get back in their car and leave.

Unless you’re prepared to go there with the police, and most people aren’t, it’s best to keep your mouth shut and comply so they’ll leave as quickly as possible. There wasn’t any scenario where those females trying to “protect” that fool was gonna turn out good.

Cops could've used other means to deescalate the situation, but they didn't owe that bozo, any quarter, once he started swingin, and knocked that goofy cop out. If he would've turned the table on the cops somehow, then ppl would be wondering, why they didn't shoot em.

Maybe we grew up in different eras.. Cause the police that used to come out to our neighborhoods knew us by name, and knew our families…. and de-escalation tactics were always implemented first…. Then dudes didn’t even pull their weapon unless it was reported that someone on the scene had one….
