They had no clue that was their last day on Earth.. last soccer practice, last meal, last time they would see their families and friends
cctv shows all three of them walking on the sidewalk, on the way to the bus stop (side by side, you know how little kids walk and huddle up to each other when they're talking); then as they are walking out of focus, her suv is shown speeding through an intersection veering off on the right side of the street, onto the sidewalk. Ranging from ages 13-17, they're only but so big in size, the impact of the collision. (One of the little ones had a soccer ball in his hand). Sad.
Oh so they weren't at the bus stop yet? Makes sense unfortunately. I thought they were already at the bus stop I was going say how at least one of them ain't dodge her but if they were walking I can see how they probably didn't see her coming, I'm assuming she hit them from behind.
Keep in mind, she was going at least 60mph - even as an adult, that would take a lot of reflex; there's no dodging that, especially if you don't see it coming (tbh, even if you do see it coming). Yes, she hit them with her car from behind. Going that speed may not seem fast, but the visual, it was very fast. I think in hindsight, our mind processes things in slow motion, so I see where you could have that perspective of being able to move out the way.
I have long advocated sharia law for drunk drivers.

Been my stance for a long time. Anyone getting behind the wheel has the same intent of being careless and putting lives at risk the minute they hit the gas pedal. Should be much stiffer penalties if you happen to get pulled over before you injure people.

I don't throw this consequence around loosely..but based on the severity of this incident and her past infractions....death penalty....

I hate drunk drivers with a passion! What's so fukked up in these situations is majority of the time the drivers come out with little to no injuries and the victims either die or suffer major injuries. 
If those were my family, her whole crew getting chopped up...
