Uhh... Yes we would... Underage drinking laws are there to target the adult/merchant who sold or gave the alcohol to the minor illegally..... Most officers aren't putting 17-19 year olds in jail because they appear to have been drinking... if they're not displaying any type of public indecency that is

They don't neccesarily have to be put in jail but they are supposed to be charged with Minor In Possession.

actually this isnt true, since you wanna act like the offices of goldberg and feinstein :heh: at no point was it proven that the passengers had internal. they werent breathalyzed

why are you acting like you dont know what a cop using his discretion is?

-cop pulled them over. smelled booze
-dudes say yeah they were drinking, the driver is their designated driver tho
-cops test and breathalyze driver, find him to blow a mouthwash amount of booze. clearly is not drunk
-cops say alright, the driver isnt impaired. get the fukk outta here

this is, in my opinion, reasonable activity by the cops. its how i want them to act. if the kid blew even a .02 i guarantee they take him away

if you want them to be hard asses and enforce every fukkin law down to the letter on white people, then it'll come down on black people harder, down the line. but like i said; if thats what you want to advocate for, thats your opinion, i stated mine
