I don’t get it either. You gotta be cut from a certain cloth to do standup and many of these IG “comedians” ain’t built like that, which is fine. I know some of them feel pressured to do it because they wanna be respected as “real” comedians but ain’t nothing wrong with just staying in your lane.

They're funny online so people think and tell them the next step is to be a comedian, but maybe they're not interested or will be a success as a comedian.

They need to find a different avenue other than being a comedian if that's not what they're interested in because that's a different beast.

Yeah there are tons of established comedy writers who run circles around Druski. He should stay independent and feed his audience.

Stand up comedy is a different beast. Them old comics was doing so many shows to refine their craft. The top dogs said they still do some free impromptu shows to refine their comedy bits. I don’t feel like these new comedians do a lot of stand up gigs because the online money is good.

Some still do impromptu standup, Chappelle and Rock do.
