Cause you have to take the craft serious to do that. You need to learn how to properly write scripts/ screenplays and be trained. These guys just make videos on their cell phones to go viral. Since they are making money they dont take the craft serious to progress to the next level.
And honestly all he had to do was hire some seasoned comedy writers to make a stand up routine for him. Lot of comedians wrote jokes for other famous comedians.

Stand up is brutal as fukk. You have to be quick witted, great speaker and have thick skin to make it. A lot of these ig comedian dudes make funny shorts but you can tell that they aren’t good writers like that. To become a standup comedian you have to form a unique voice after years of insights, experience and picking up game. Putting these social media cats in front of a drunk rowdy crowd and expecting them to have a solid 1 hour set is retardation.
