Just wait until the battery life decrease with every charge. It will be in the 30 minute range.

How often do you play 8 hrs a day?
And tell me what's easier: putting in 8 hours in front of the tv or being able to post from wherever you're at with either your phone or your work computer?
very rarely. But I know at the height of the coli 2k13 League I was on all day damn near. And I have ran thru Mass Effect and Final Fantasy in 10-12 hr sessions sometimes.

Having to buy a longer cord is bullshyt but unless you're 20 feet away, is it really a big deal? It's not as if you can't use it while it's charging

I put in hours too...When skyrim dropped and wifey and the kids left to visit some fam, i played that from 8am-12am. Of course i took breaks but real talk i can game all day.

I don't play as much as I used to, so I'm good.
I do at the most 2-4 hrs a day after that its back on the charger, like yall are really reaching
nobody really playing 8 hours a day. this is just another case of the concerned troll making an irrational argument for something that will bother virtually no one 8 hours straight of gaming is something i haven't done since Metal Gear Solid 4 came out and i remember feeling sick after i did it. i beat that game inside of 2 days.

after every gaming session now you MUST plug in the controller essentially
and many people aren't playing for 8hrs but i'm definitely doing 'stuff' for 8 hours on my playstation throughout a day in many cases be it youtube, netflix, gaming, whatever
and the biggest thing is WHY would they make it so much worse? It blows my mind seeing everyone in this forum accept mediocrity from both sides of the fence

So get a new battery that can support longer life. They exist.
Quite sure that the battery is as large as the controller size will allow.
This thread is pointless. 8 hours is less than DS3 but in reality most people will not have 8 straight hours to blow on games. I know i wont..and if you will simply buy a cheapass 8 ft usb cable and be done with it
