teams and networks do this type of stuff to try and go viral, they acted so obvious to bring attention to themselves. if your dumb enough to believe this is real then so be it, just proves them to be right.
if teams or stadiums weren't trying to go viral, their wouldn't be so many kiss cam or audience stunts in the arena
Do you understand that damn near every team in the NBA does some type of gimmick/staged shyt. Whether it be a fake couple in the kiss cam, a fake opposing fan, or just all kind of lil silly shyt. My homeboy works for the Hawks, and they literally have the employees volunteer to be actors and shyt. It's entertainment at the end of the day.
