There’s simply too much grey area in the stand your ground law. Any nut with a gun can initiate an altercation and claim after the fact they feared for their life. Getting slapped up doesn’t meet the criteria for use of deadly force imo.
One the rules in stand your ground is you cannot have started the altercation.
You also are not allowed to carry weapons while intoxicated or while drinking.
in some states you also have a duty to retreat. In Ohio dude would be charged with murder.
