if facebook gets into the ad business outside of facebook, they're going to be trouble. they're trying that now with the universal login via facebook. not saying its going to happen, but its a good bet as far as risky bets go.

facebook is waning. feeds are damn near deserted these days(other than the same 5 people).. everyones on instagram.. (i realize they bought ig but still).. dont see it happening
facebook just posted a 60% increase in revenue. they are just now figuring out how to make money. plus they've figured out that they should buy all upcoming social sites so that even if people leave facebook, they're still on facebook (ig). on top of that, if you notice, more sites are letting you login with your facebook credentials. this is the start of facebook getting into targeted ads outside of the facebook environment (like google). they will have more info on you (from your facebook/ig info) than google so the ads will be more targeted.
