This is extremely sad

Apparently he flipped someone off in traffic and they shot the car up and killed his wife

Do they deserve to get locked up ? Absolutely

Is he also at fault? Yes

I’m a firm believer in not doing things in traffic you wouldn’t do to someone in person

Cars be giving you cacs too much courage to be disrespectful

Sad his wife had to be a victim for him to get the lesson

WHAT? :heh:

Yeah, he escalated the situation when he should have done the opposite.
He flipped someone off :heh:

The issue here is guns being so readily available in a country full of reckless and stupid people. We should be having a conversation about gun control not blaming this guy for his wife’s death, which btw isn’t his fault :mjlol:

“It’s this guys fault his wife dead” is some wild victim blaming. This country is truly a dystopian hellscape. It’s why other first world countries stay looking at us like we’re all insane people (we are)

Which escalated the situation.

If he didn’t do that his wife would be alive now.
yes the gunman is ultimately responsible. But, again, it would not have escalated to that point without the husbands actions.

Actions have consequences. And consequences are under no obligation to be fair or rational.

Had a pick up break check and cut me off 3 times for no reason 2 weeks ago, took all the power in my body to calmly let it go. I never get like that

Same shyt happened to my buddy.
No one was killed but he was driving and his girl threw a water bottle out the window at a group of dudes. They then stomped the hell out of his car while he was at the light.

He doesn’t flip the finger, she doesn’t get killed.

Again. Action meet consequence. Nobody’s saying that it’s right, or justified. We’re just saying that that is the way it is.

So you can go out in the world thinking that we live in heaven and folks will turn the other cheek if you flip them off…or you can live in reality and recognize that someone could very likely kill you (or your wife) if you flip them off.

I choose to live in reality.
