That's crazy but still doesn't explain how security didn't catch it during a door search if they did one.
I've been promoting clubs and parties in Orlando since 1998. When he attacked, it was the most vulnerable time. Some people are saying that he went in through the side/back door. At 2am when the club closes/last call, they are already breaking down the bar and cleaning up the club. They often prop doors open and are not frisking people, because they usually stop letting people in around 1:45 so they are a little more laxed at the front door. Furthermore, it was stated that he first opened up on a bouncer almost immediately. And personally, I dont know of ANYONE that would be in the mindset to rush someone emptying a clip of an AR-15 upon first sight. It would take you at least 10 seconds to get a bearing of whats going on and then formulate a plan of attack. Just my $.02
