I'm guessing you didn't read the thread. I don't have an Instagram. This is the only social media I use. I'd assume most people would like to see how people look on this website because unlike Facebook and Instagram consists of users you most likely don't know and haven't seen. And let's not take a gander at the plethora of threads and posts begging female posters for their pics. Online dating and things of that nature are different IMO.

But it's okay, you just wanted to post about the irrational female psyche and fish for daps.

this...and sometimes i legit forget how good looking the girl was. I mean i trust my judgement, but you have to gauge how much effort she is worth sometimes and if you bag/talk to multiple chicks that becomes difficult without seeing them regularly

not saying you should do anything. it's your life. all i'm saying is that the type of guy who wouldn't care about getting a pic from you or isn't into social media is typically not very outgoing and more introverted not all the times but a lot of times). so the odds that a guy like that who is single notices you and actually approaches you...and then you gotta add the odd that you actually find said guy attractive...I mean i'm just pointing out how it is.

also, i don't think it's that you don't want to send pics that's turning them off. i think they see it more like they feel like they're putting in work trying to get to know you, and maybe they feel like you're not putting in work so they cut their losses early. if i ask a chick if she could do something and she just said no, i don't do that, i'd just reply back "cool" and that would probably be my last words to her if she doesn't say anything else or bring some other energy to the exchange so that's why i was saying i kinda see where they're coming from..

This is true. I usually try to segue into something else. I try not to be rude about it, and I absolutely dread when I'm asked because I have to think about how can I get out of this smoothly. Sometimes it ends well others, not so much.

I disagree bruh. IG is actually pretty shytty when it comes to determining anything about a person other than how much attention they like. For the simple fact that most people are not who they present themselves to be at all. A lot of psychology in social media. Id agree tha tit present the type of personality you want to exude but not something as specific as the type of person they are.

Like I read some captions and know a chick is trying to exude confidence in herself. But I might actually know her and know she has no confidence. What is she gonna do, post that shes awkward and unconfident? lol

I completely agree. Somebody mentioned it earlier in the thread but nowadays you can use social media to determine if you even want to put effort into meeting someone. Speed dating 100%. Just looking through someones instagram or reading posts they put up can give a lot of insight into someone's personality.

You meet a guy and you're texting each other, and he just randomly sends an unsolicited picture (no dikk pic ). Why? That's so weird to me. Why do y'all ask for us to send a picture? Not even a sexy picture just a random picture. What do you do with the picture? Why?! I never send the pictures and then I get no more replies

I don't agree. I understand the idea behind the statement, but in real life it doesn't add up. Social media is just a facade, you can look past that face to face sometimes, through a screen it's much harder.

I completely agree with you. However, if someone chooses to post what they post... then I'm going to assume and judge just off of that fact alone. It's their choice as to how they want others to view them when it comes to presenting themselves to the world.
