ETA: But nah son. No way this is true. I can spend hours crafting some fake image on instagram and Facebook only for you to meet me and I act completely different than some drafted up person I presented for the world to see. That's a representative, at least in speaking you can pick up some social clues and figure if I'm lying and full of shyt.

It's disappointing to me. I enjoy getting to know each other, you can't learn everything from looking at Facebook and instagram. I guess this doesn't matter really because anytime someone asks for a social profile in lieu of a phone number they get the immediately. I don't have any anyway so they usually walk away after that anyway. Y'all act like dudes like that, I've gotten the opposite, they don't even want to be bothered with me . My friend told me I should make one so I can meet some people. I did make an okcupid profile , a coli member sent me a message too .

I get the same thing when I tell people I don't have social media. They're like how do you keep in touch with people are you weird?

Yes I'm weird , and I use this crazy thing called speech. Coupled with this fancy cell phone I have, I'd like to think I'm a communications master.

Naw I don't think you should just ask for their Social Media page, but I do ask after we have talked a little.. and I do look at people funny if they have no social media, no offense but every woman I have met have been more into taking and looking at pictures from past experiences, so for them to not have one of these sites that glorifies pictures is weird to me.. know what I'm saying?

FB helps me remember birthdays
gives me a pic to look at during extended times away
allows me to talk to you when I am bored at work and cant use my phone
shyt I work overseas, now and know people in different countries, I cant keep in touch with everyone with out social media. It just makes everything so much easier.

And contact pics are the way to go, I enjoy ...... maybe I just enjoy technology, I like to use all the features on this expensive ass phone

Why are nikkas tripping on not getting pics from females?

Sometimes you forget what a chick looked like.. maybe you were under the influence of drugs or alcohol when you both met. You got to see if she looked good enough to pursue and spend time, money, and effort on. This goes both ways btw

It's a different era we're living in now. This is the social media generation where communication is as fast and instant as ever before. But it's also made zombies out of a lot of people who have trouble communitcating in person.

I can't count the many times I've been out with my girl and friends at different social places and see people tethered to their phones and not talk to a single person within 2 feet of them.

I've always been the kind of cat to talk to women over the phone and interact with them in person than rely on social media. You learn a lot more about a person being in their presence than you do looking at their pics. A lot of people aren't who they portray to be outside the gram.

This social media thing is straight up evil. People are still figuring it out (me too). But, stuff you post is forever. It's too hard to keep track of so I don't mess with much of it. Too easy to post some ish you don't want the whole world seeing. I plug my iPhone into my computer at work and all my damned pics would pop up. Like the whole world is on that reality TV ride
