Sneaker culture or any culture should not include being robbed or shot just because you're involved in that culture.

So in short, "good". Let it stay dead.
I was into Sneaker culture and I never got robbed or shot :dwillhuh:

I do miss it though.

Forums like Niketalk, Hypebeast, Bapetalk and Bapetalk 2 were great for buying sneakers

The usual hyped Jordan’s are selling out still because of decreased product.

It's not dead, it just got gentrified like a motherfukker. Turned into a online money making machine for white kids who can spend daddies money on bots and conventions. fukk it. I just copped some black Puma Suede XL's for $55 cad. Deal of the summer.

Sneaker culture ain't dead, it's just evolved. People wear more than just Jordan's now. Plus they moved the market out of brick and mortar and geared releases online
This 100%.

I usually buy one or two pairs of J's or Foams per year...if there's a colorway I like. It's mostly been through the Nike App.

Used to have a sneaker guy at Foot Locker (shoutout to the breh Tim) who always made sure they had a pair of Size 11's for me. Waited in like overnight for a couple of Jordan drops back in my 20s. Sneaker culture is strong but a lot more diverse now.

Sneaker culture ain’t dead. Business is still booming. It’s just mainstream now.
