I've been making my own natural lotion for a while now. fukk those commercial products made for the mass.

raw shea butter + golden jojoba oil + vitamin E + almond oil = all in one body, face, hair and lip moisturiser.

no way your face ain't an oil slick half the day ....

MOST black people have oily skin, not saying your concoction is bad - it just seems like you would clog your pores with more grease and oil. So for those who suffer from acne/bumps this might not be good

i use Dudu osun for the body though (sometimes face) and alternate with Lush soaps or goat milk soaps.

Works for me.:manny:

Face glowing like the setting sun. :takedat:

Of course, if you have oily skin best to reduce the amount of oils in your lotion.

gonna check the dudu:takedat:

I normally fukk with black seed soap, shout out to the arabs:wow:

any more tips,please share :dame:

I'm not sure if peeling is a good thing. I assumed it was since u never exfoliated my skin before and always had decent skin. But I had been noticing that I was breaking out more since growing my hair and beard out and working out more.

Anyway be very gentle when using the soap. Very soft rag and only use little pressure for about 5 or 6 circles in each area. Dudu soap was burning my skin or so it felt. Prolly from scrubbing too hard.

Also hit the Shea butter immediately after using it at night. That way u not too oil during the day.

working out gets me, might need to wash your face before and of course after working out

peeling is a sign of exfoliation most times, so not bad - you might try using it only 1 or 2 times a week.
Use something gentler like goat milk soap or get non-soap cleanser

Wanted to thank all the coli ladies and homies here who put me on to Dudu-Osun soap and shea butter.

:blessed:

Been on it for 2 weeks, skin started peeling after the first week. A youning is shining! Mixed the shea butter with some castor oil. Curly fade and beard game on 1000. Hair growing like a weed.

Get on it if you have bad skin brehs, thecoli was right. Havent been disappointed at all.

do you lather it up and let it sit on your face for a while? or do you just lather and rinse it off?

I have oily skin. But I think oily skin would only affect you if you leave your skin dry, it'd produce more oil.

lather it on a cloth and rub my face breh. No real waiting. I just lather and wash twice.
