.....Nikka get out yo feelings!!! I hope UNC or Cuse wins the title and continues to prop up the ACC.....Duke lost 4 of last years starting five, and the 5th got hurt 9 games into the season. I'm supposed to be mad at a sweet 16 loss when we just won a title last year?
It aint nearly that serious. Like I said, we got one last year, we good. Congrats to UNC though!
UK seems to do pretty well at reloading every year. If coach Kal really wants to play the one and done game he should recruit better instead of chastising teenagers on opposing teams and lying about it

That 2010 team did not have any one and done players, nice try. You know I'm referring to when Rat Face Killa started bringing in those guys. This year he had approximately 6 bodies and 3 that were worth a damn, sounds like a personnel problem to me

Man next year I'm going to law school at Harvard, next year I'm putting on 30 pounds of muscle and marrying Malia Obama.

i think duke could struggle next year at times. they have soooo many wing players all of who are gonna want shots and there flat out aren't enough of those to go around especially if cruz comes back
also if these thornton rumors are true, they won't have a true pg on the roster outside of a true freshman. that will exacerbate a lot of those shot issues bc there won't be a distributor in place.
i know last year duke had some similar problems but tyus was a true distributor and we don't know with jackson yet. also a bit reason duke won the title was a senior guy like cook who could run point. they don't have that luxury next year
they still will be a final 4 favorite but i would not be surprised at all if they struggle at points in acc play and have an early flameout

Lol...Breh 2010 was the year the on and done began....He won a title that year after missing out on John Wall. Him not having a on-and-done on that team doesn't change the fact that title was in the on-and -done era.
He has 2 titles during this one-and-done era, that's a fact. He had a guy averaging a double double that went down 9 games into the season, at a position with the least depth on the team, after loosing 3 guys 2 the draft, and another to graduation, and he still takes this team, beats UNC at Chapel Hill with five players, UVA, and Louisville in the stretch of a week, and makes it to the second weekend of the tournament. We good. Come talk that talk next year though!!! I hope you not a UK fan....Cal has done way less with way more talent

Thornton isn't going anywhere, and he's going to be an absolute stud at Duke next year. I hope
.Duke doesn't usually have those issues as far as sharing the ball. They have always had talent and depth at the wing, and it's never been a problem. It's the paint that's been the problem. I don't think it was as much a senior leader at PG, but moreso a senior leader period. They will have 2 of those in Jefferson, and Jones next year. Kennard will be much better. As a fan of basketball, I never expected that much this year from Duke after Amile went down. Had a wing went down, Duke would have been better off, but Amile was the best paint player, best paint defender, best rebounder, and the vocal leader. The fact they won the number of games they won, with what they had available speaks volumes about the kind of coach that K is. I was watching UNC play Notre Dame with some of my nikkas who are UNC fans....Not band wagon fans....but ride or die UNC fans...they were all happy Duke lost, but the majority acknowledged Duke was much better than they thought they should have been...and the credited it to K saying how great of a coach he is.....although I'm sure that was easier to do since they made the final four.

idk what kinda unc fans you are hanging out with but i dont think k did anything great this year. average at best year to me
He took a Wooden Award finalist, a top two pick in the draft, and a bunch of highly rated H.S. recruits to only 7 ACC losses, and second round exits in the ACC and NCAA tourney. Should be getting serious consideration for coach of the year.

The last time UNC won a championship, they lost 17 games the following year.Lost in the NIT... They lost at least 10 games the last 3 years. As sorry as you say Duke was this year, they beat UNC, in Chapel Hill, with five nikkas. These are facts. Stop quoting me and go sit your dumbass down. Duke has won 11 of the last 15 games vs UNC. Duke lost 11 games this year. Before that, they hadn't lost double digit games since 2006. Nikka UNC has lost 10 or more games each of the last 3 seasons. Funny thing, I don't hate UNC, I support almost all ACC teams, it's just some of their dumbass fans that really don't know anything about the game. You prolly couldn't even name the starting 5 of UNC's last title team without looking it up. I already told you, we good! Why you so mad?Your looking in terms of win and losses. Let me put this in perspective. 11 losses by Duke standards is a down year no doubt, but considering the PG wasn't ready, the teams most important player was lost for the season, all they lost the previous year, and this team made the tournament, and got to the second weekend, I don't see that as average. An average coach would have lost 17+games.
This team could have easily loss 15-18 games. Players had to play out of position, and carry loads they probably weren't ready for. When Ed Davis got hurt for UNC the year after their title, they lost 17 games, and were in the NIT. When Noel got hurt for UK after they won their title, they went to the NIT. I'm not knocking either of those programs, but it speaks volumes that the other 2 couldn't even make the tournament. But I understand your point....Based on Dukes past success, this was a down year...But I think K did about as good of a job as he could have with what he was working with.Oh and the nikkas I hang out with, they just not clowns. They don't need to talk down on one program, to uplift theirs. But they been fans for year, unlike a lot of these new nikkas.
Considering he locked up Kaminsky right after Frank bukkaked Karl Towns, it seems pretty reasonable that losing your best rebounder and interior defender and leader kinda matters.
But ANYWAY...it's fine.
