Same thing happened with Cal at UMass and at Memphis - he wasn't aware of any wrongdoing regarding Camby and with Rose he was told by the school that he was cleared to play.

Just this past week I had lunch with an HBCU alum who is a retired NASA administrator. He's now consulting private companies on how to get government contracts to provide services for NASA when we send a man to Mars.

And he didn't go to either of the schools you mentioned

I don't believe in HBCU's in modern america - it's a segregationists ideology and I'll admit I exaggerated when I said "poor education". But I'm comparing it to the upper tier schools (like Duke) and responding to someone saying "go to HBCU's" as if they rival Duke in any shape, form, or fashion wrt to education and the learning/networking environment for most majors. I'm not saying you can't make $50K jobs coming out of Hampton or TSU or Fisk or Meharry. But I am stating on average t all statistics point to these school being towards the below average payscales especially for those who are in the middle of their career. Now this could be due to a few things but as you said, lets not distract from the threads argument. I did go off on a tangent and make some explosive comments, which I will retract.
