Roy is a Dean Smith disciple. No surprise. One of the greatest attributes of Dean was how much he didn’t want the spotlight. The school/program is bigger than the coach.
I think that’s why you see unc be successful before Dean, during dean, after dean, and now into the future. I was skeptical of HD in the beginning but I was wrong. Those kids love playing for him. He embodies everything that unc basketball needs to be, which is a family. And he’s doing it in his own way. It’s a much more nba oriented offense now. That’ll be huge with recruiting. Unc still has a strong nba pipeline. And having the goat as alumni doesn’t hurt either

He's shown that his system allows for everybody to get theirs and that he can dial it up for various skill sets and positions. Hubert about to have this thing humming.
Yes. Watching this offense and how most big recruits are guards/forwards, they’ll want to come to chapel hill. It’s nba centric with the high pnr.
I should’ve corrected my last post. I said players love playing for HD. It should say they love playing WITH HD. HD gets it. He’s a UNC/Dean/Roy disciple through and through. He clearly wants the kids to be front and center. #Family

You probably haven't seen a single second of this kids game, but as long as there is a 5* next to his name, you're all in. K sold the program out and yall wack fan base followed right along with it. No one cares about what actually gets accomplished at Dook, just what you accomplished in high school and draft night. It's almost like the school you're rooting for has become an afterthought.
