How can you say cops and their families understood the risk, but not use that same logic for the black men who do things to escalate encounters with cops. Did Mike Brown now understand the risk of fighting an officer? Did Rice not understand the risk of playing with a toy gun in public?

you don't have to be paid in order to be responsible for your own outcome. That's a fallacy in order to detract from the responsibility these people hold.
The responsibility of cops isn't to protect people, it's been determined by the Supreme Court that they're job is to protect the law. And not only that, but if you want to rely on the training of cops, they're trained to get rid of a perceived threat. Especially those with weapons.
So if you make it seem like you have a weapon and are a threat, training says to take you out.
There is no one more responsible for your safety than YOU. If you think cops should accept the risk of your job, criminals and people with reckless regard for their own safety should accept the risk of doing things that may provoke violence from authorities.

I agree with all of this, but at the end of the day these cops want to go home to their families, and they do what it takes in order to achieve that. Black people need to do the same thing, even if it means complying. If not, own up and accept the risk that doing the direct opposite may not be the best for your health.

Most of these killings have nothing to do with uncompliance .
US history is filled w unjustified killing of black so called amerikkans and you're on here Placing 100% of the blame on the people dealing with

Cultural stigma
