The restaurant should be paying floyd for blessing them with his appearance. im sure They made a ton of money that night and charged out the ass for entry and tables. thats why he was comped. Your beef should be with the restuarant. How can they make 25k off one tab in one night and not afford to pay mininum wage or a decent salary for their staff so they dont beg for tips? He probably should have left something (I would have) but he isn't obligated to and trying to shame him in public isn't gonna make him go back and give her a tip. You either chalk it up to the game or get a new job. Why didn't go to her employer & complain about them comping his bill & not giving her a cut of what they are paying her to do?

breh, this isnt a debate about whether restaurants should pay more. as of now, they dont, and servers make their income from tips. floyd was wrong and you, me, and every person on this board knows it. stop trying to deflect blame to the restaurant when floyd is the a$$hole for not tipping
Being obligated to leave a tip isn't the issue. No one forces you. Just makes you a prick if you don't and if you get outed for it, "chalk it up to the game".
Yeah it sucks for her but they aren't exactly handing out jobs like hotcakes these days. Employers don't give out tips. Customers do.

a servers income is not my problem. Thats their employers problem. Tips are not garuranted or required. If they were, it would be on the bill. if waiters want a more dependable and stable income then they should get a new job.
Floyd wasnt wrong because the restaurant should have been paying him to be there. You fail to see the business dynamics at play on a fight weekend in vegas. Floyd was the reason everyone was there and vegas was poppin . Its bad business for floyd to be reaching into his pocket for anything which is why he was comped. the restaurant should have taken care of the waiter.

With a tab like that gratuity is most likely already included. Floyd was also most likely comped for making an appearance at Rehab. There is so much competition with all the hotels in Vegas to have the most crackin pool party, so having Floyd there boosted its status for the day.

In this instance when they made more money than they would any other night then paying for his bill and not giving her the typical servers fee is on them not Floyd. I know you've seen pics of receipts of when famous people have a big bill like that it includes a servers fee
