Dumb question moment. Were Black kids into Harry Potter at all? Were any of you?

I was but my teachers literally made the few of us that was reading the books at school stop cause of “witchcraft” no lie

My daughter experienced something similar, but the tact she used was that the books were too advanced for the children. Yes, she was a White woman.

The first book came out when I was in 6th grade and our teacher had us read it all together outloud during class.... that was the coldest shyt ever I never watched nann one of the movies or read a book on my own tho
