He's a felon with pictures of him with guns. That's a felony, and they probably had a search warrant for the guns. When you post stuff on instagram you're giving up your privacy, willingly. And if you're doing something illegal, and publicly.... well... I don't know what judge would say no to a warrant.

Look, I'm a libertarian. Generally speaking, I don't like how police operate. That said, I've worked in law enforcement. I know how it works. Unless there's something high profile going on (see: 40 burglaries in the area) or you're a part of some lengthy conspiracy investigation, most typically don't care what's going on in your house. If they did, you'd hear thousands of these stories a day because like I said, there is no shortage of dipshyts incriminating themselves on social media every day. I've seen it and I've seen nothing done about it. I sat on countless wires and there is simply too many people to go after, even those who blatantly incriminate themselves. Major players get got.

Relax. You're not that important, especially if you're not doing anything.
