Hell I want the Lakers to end up with Josh Jackson so I wouldn't mind that either.

Chad dropped an article today saying it's a split in the front office right now. Called it a 40/35/25 split. Lonzo has 40..Josh has 35 and Fox with 25 percent split.

Which is why they need to get quality players. Trade down and get two.
Exactly two potential good prospects vs one potential good prospect

He upside for fox is supposed to be high but two good players who also have good upside is never the wrong answer unless it's a sure fire pick

If it was josh Jackson or fultz I'd understand but fox wasn't even top five pick until he workouts started happening plus he weighs 160 and would be running a backcourt wih buddy hield

Meh, they already have quality players. They need a game changer and someone that can bring the team together, that's Lonzo. He's tailor made for Luke's offense and the roster, we don't need a Dennis Smith or Tatum when we already have guys better than those 2 at their position.

Ford has 0 insight with the lakers pure speculation. Local reports have it either ball or JJ

This draft has a lot of talent, but also has a lot of question marks around that talent.

For example:
Fox's speed could be game changing, but his inability to shoot, and questions about whether he'll be able to finish through contact definitely make risky to assume he'll be super dynamic.

Not really though. The front court is trash. Clarkson is a 6th man combo guard, D'loading can't guard, and may never been an all star quality player, and Ingram is still two years away from being an effective starter -- and he's my favorite of the bunch.

They need a game changer and someone that can bring the team together, that's Lonzo.

I don't disagree with the idea, but I'm not sure Lonzo is the game changing talent y'all need.

You definitely don't have a scorer with the instincts/size/skills/versatility of Tatum. But you're right that you probably don't need Smith.

I think Lonzo is a good fit. I think Jackson would be a very good fit too. I think Fultz is a good fit anywhere. But the Lakers roster is garbage, and they need as much talent as they can get. If they believe Lonzo is the franchise altering talent they need, then they should definitely do it. But that is a lot to put on a guy who can't break down an nba defender off the dribble right now.
