I forget who it was this year...I think it was Arizona or somebody out west...but it's 4th and inches, and the team lines up in the shotgun.

Somebody got PAID to tell the offense to line up in the shotgun on 4th and inches.

For the life of me, I don't understand the logic in this....it really irks me when the team is on the goaline.

seen so many 4th and whatever punts from inside the opponents 40, even from in the pros. just a laughingly bad call. just about as bad is the 4th and goal from the 1 or 2 field goal try. unless it gets you the lead very late, its a terrible call

Especially in college football. Alabama might be better off going for all 4th and short when they reach their opponents side of the field.

Any prevent defense at any time of the game outside of a hail mary...a prevent defense just about ALWAYS ends up with the other team getting in at least field goal distance to go for the win...
