Hence why Mac could have easily turned down 10 mil a year if Orlando was offering more.

Tracy was always gonna go to Orlando, the only questionable moment was when it came out in the press that Zo was trying to woo him to Miami

no breh, you misunderstood my post.

Orlando was not going to offer TMac a max deal if they signed Duncan and Hill. Chicago was willing to do that.

Orlando's cap number was like 25 million.

But you think Mac was solely out to get the max? (okay it was the late 90s/early 00s so he would be) It always seem like he was hoping to go to Orlando anyway cause of the hometown connect and how he bytched about the cold in Toronto

I remember it was supposed to be Grant and Duncan teaming up. I don't really remember T-mac's name coming up until after Duncan went back to San Antonio. But Duncan and a healthy Hill alone could have ran the East for a decade.

I like how nikkas just make shyt up. Orlando could only sign 2 big free agents at the time. The priority was Duncan & Hill. When Duncan resigned with San Antonio, the focus shifted to Hill & Mcgrady. At that time, Mcgrady was just seen as someone with alot of potential. He was not the priority.
