And? Duncan's career didn't start in 07 and Kobe wasn't even in the top 3 in MVP voting for most years he was with Shaq so what does that have to do with anything? Shaq was there but Kobe wasn't because Kobe wasn't.

Duncan won mvp over shaq in years that shaq clearly deserved it. The MVP award is fukked up because of Kobe anyway. Kobe deserved it clearly in 2006 by taking D leaguers to the playoffs and breaking numerous scoring records. We're talking about actual impact in the finals and in 2005 Ginobili was the real FMVP. Duncan was not once or at any point past 99-00 a better player than Kobe.

Duncan was always on an incredibly well staffed squad. what would duncan do with Pau Fisher Odom and a never healthy Bynum? Absolutely nothing and you know it. Kobe won rings with teams that Duncan would have been a 7 seed with. He wasnt even the best player on his team for the last decade.
