Anybody who makes a big deal outta this doesn't understand basketball roles,
Duncan is there for defense now, Aldridge is Duncan
Duncan is Drob

We've seen this before
Tell me about the great defense he provides in 12 minutes and in a blowout loss you great basketball savant you

Pre-knee injury (36 games, 26.1 mpg): 56.4 TS%
Post-knee injury (24 games, 23.4 mpg): 48.5 TS%

For the first half of the season, he was playing about where he was at last year. Obviously scoring less with the addition of LMA, but he was still a threat in the PnR and could finish at the rim. Since the knee injury, his offense has practically been non-existent.

He's still good for 7-10 rebounds and rim protection. David West is only better at finishing at the rim. But they can't keep playing West with Diaw. Duncan should be finishing games.

He's 40 and a big man. It's remarkable he lasted this long anyways, considering the years he played and playoff minutes

:what:

The hell is that supposed to mean? Most of the all time leading scorers in the NBA are big men because they are able to play longer in their careers compared to smaller players because they are big

Stick to hockey :scust:

His role has obviously completely changed, but Ive spent a nice chunk of the season slandering Kobe's performances, so Duncan got me a lookin a lil wild out here right now.
:lupe:

I feel the vultures circling...the Lakers stans I know been waiting for this.

Is this supposed to prove me wrong?
His is role is defense, he's not out their to put up points anymore. Your point that he's not great at it doesn't change that.

Robinson was way better. Duncan can barely move what defense can he provide?
I agree, but my point still stands.
I'm still correct about his role.
You really think they want Duncan out there to provide offense?

I say he has a defensive role and y'alls counter point is that he's no Bill Russell? Both points are correct because neither is mutually exclusive.

Say what you say but at 37,38 Duncan was averaging a double double with 18 n 12 and then 15 n 10 a game in the finals :sas1:

Can't discredit that

He's an old 40 playing against some young pups Adams 22, and Kanter 23 :yeshrug:

Kobe was trash his last 5 seasons and the Lakers will be for the next 10 :smugbiden:

Spurs still winning this :umad:

Obama was still in his first term the last time the Lakers made the playoffs :wow:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
@Malta what's your thoughts on Steven Adams

@FreedS[ohh]lave and I used to talk about him back on SOHH when he was still in HS, always liked him, he has the potential to be a top tier defensive big and he has a little more offense than he's shown so far.
