No, this is still the first book. The issue is that it's so long (800+ pages) that you either need 2 movies, or a full-on, 12-episode series in order to do it justice.

Even with Dune being broken into 2 movies, they STILL cut a loooooot of shyt out that's integral to the plot.

As for expectations, it should still be lit.
