Just finished the season. Pretty entertaining but not much connection to the movies or worlds the movies created other than the last names of some characters and Arrakis images here and there. Seemed more like a CW show to be honest.

I joked to my wife that this show should have been called Girls Gone Wild

the one thing I don't get is sister dorotea snd the right/extremist side of the sisterhood.

when dorotea said that the sisterhood is off path and needs to go back to its foundation....but wasn't her grandmother that found the sisterhood? and whatever raquelle wanted it to be it's part of the sisterhood foundation?

the shapeshifter sister character was wasted.

the sisterhood rebellion was wonky...how lula just up and left knowing the situation with dorotea

anyways going to rewatch

Been binging this since Friday This MF Ragnar has so much TV charisma to carry a show off him alone first Vikings, then Raised by wolves now this . I'm up to the finale but anything with this dude is a must watch. Crazy how this show is so similar to Raised by wolves just set in the Dune universe.

the way I took it, this is before the height of the effects of the anti-technology Butlerian Jihad...so the level of technology after the time of Prophecy actually drops for a couple of thousand years.
