Just wanted to bump this for October 2021 and say if this shyt dropped right now in today's climate, it would've been a much bigger record. This was a dope album, and I don't think anyone really knew how to take it. Goofy name. Goofy cover. Weird bar on bar raps that were east coast style raps from west coast emcees. Dope stuff. I wish they'd press or repress this on vinyl.

It's pressed. I got it off FB year or two ago. Was pretty available at the time.

Dope album, all 3 killed it, one of the most entertaining albums with tons of replay value

This would never be a "big" album in any Era imo, but it was good. Fish Meat especially.
I should clarfiy that I didn't man big as in a big big record. An album like this would never be mainstream. I just think today's climate is full of a lot more of this type of music, and I think it might've gotten some more attention and some more acclaim.

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I heard that this started off as a Planet Asia and Alc collab album, and somewhere along the line they decided to bring in Ben and Tri-State.

I definitely remember a lot of people thinking this would be trash and/or throwaway beats and being super surprised at how quality it was.

instant classic. i think it would be accepted the exact same way today...maybe slightly bigger but still ultimately slept on and kind of forgotten. thats been a big record for me since it dropped though and its one of the top Alc collabs with Non Mobb Deep rappers.
