Kobe wouldn't have of gotten criticized like this if he announced his retirement at the start of the season and did what Duncan has been doing for a while now -- deferring. Kobe is jacking up shots like it's 05-06. That's ridiculous.

Tom Brady was playing bad for the first few games last season everybody in the media was calling his retirement and saying he was done. He then he won the SuperBowl and everybody tone changed.
