I don't blame the Warriors. I don't really 'blame' KD. They can do what they want and if they wanted to form the Monstars and could, its their prerogative. Every team tries to maximize their talent. Personally I've maintained that what KD did was competitively lame and an indictment on his basketball character. Not as a human being but to join the team that beat you after you choked, a team that legitimately doesn't need you to win a title and the best regular season team in history is lame when you're a guy that is not only a franchise player, but an MVP level player on a contender yourself. It was wack. But that's just me, a fan who wants to be entertained by competition and doesn't think having an unbeatable team for the next 3-4 years is actually any fun. I didn't like LeBron leaving Cleveland and I didn't like him going to Miami because in a weird way I didn't think Miami deserved a player like that. And that ain't hate as my pops is from Miami and I grew up a Canes fan and a casual Heat fan. But it was also undeniable that management had done a trash job of putting a team around LeBron. His #2 was Wally Szerwhatever man. So I couldn't blame him for leaving.
if warriors and cavs met up this year and KD wasnt on their roster would you have picked the warriors to win the finals this year after what happened in 2016 ? obviously warriors felt like they couldnt beat the cavs without him so they recruited him and got him...if KD went to the cavs would u say it was a bytch move ? (i dont think bron stans would) since bron did beat him in the finals the only bytch shyt KD did was leave his man hangin yeah GSW beat him but they werent rivals so in KD's mind he could care less...only reason bron fans mad as cuz they're the only ones that's gonna keep catching this fade cuz they're the only one's that's gonna keep getting to the finals in the east :laff: unless Bron changes this roster his finals record could get real ugly in 3-4 years :youngsabo:

. Cleveland was never a realistic option so it doesn't matter. Most didn't think GS was one either because again, the general consensus was 'who leaves a contending team' and then 'who leaves a contending team for the team that just beat them', and also 'what superstar goes and joins another ready made team'. The whole league is getting ran through, not just Cleveland

Actually, the Thunder were more stacked and the Heat had Wade and Bosh out there hurt

they were the favorites to win that series even tho everybody knew LeBron was better than KD in 2012. Stop trying to think everybody just starting watching hoops last night.

Remember. LeBron is a highly successful black man. Average dude likes nothing more than seeing a highly successful black man lose, yes this includes black men. Sounds crazy, but isn't crazy. You'd think black men would LOVE to see other black men succeed.. but let's be real. We all know what happens when a black man gets successful and why they need to get up out the hood asap - because the hate is real and they wouldn't be safe no more.

Same exact thing is happening. These losers don't even realize they want to see LeBron lose because he's a successful black man. 'But KD is black'. That's not the point. If KD wins 5 times and is considered the best alive and a new team comes along and beats his team, people will rejoice on here.

How a black man can hate another black, successful man without an actual good reason is just beyond me, but that too is The Coli - as much as I enjoy this place, the black-on-black hate is just disgusting.

Explain why the hood loves Kobe, Jordan & Duncan then :stopitslime:

You're right its arguable. But LeBron beat GSW while KD choked against them after spending all year texting those dudes. And again, NOBODY was trying to claim KD was better than LeBron last year when KD had the same burden of being the Alpha and leading a team as LeBron did. Now with no burden, no leadership worries, no weak spots to make up for (like basically every superstar ever), he's balling and people mistake that for him somehow being the best player when we have years of evidence of him not getting it done on his own.

OKC has at least been in the WCF every year that their core was healthy and pushed GS to the point where Klay had to save them in game 6. Cleveland was on their way to being blown out like they're probably going to be this year until Dray got suspended and Bogut got hurt.

It's A LOT easier to play better when you have an MVP + Klay Thompson and an actually functioning bench with Iguadola, Livingston etc. as team mates, as opposed to having Kyrie 'sometimes I'm hot, usually not' Irving (who does still get respect for his heroics last year), Trish 'Missing' Thompson and JR 'is the boy retarded?' Smith as team mates.

Why wasn't Durant better than LeBron last year when the Thunder got punked by the Warriors?

Exactly, he didn't have Curry, Thompson and Green. So that changes the perception of how 'great' he is. LeBron is better than Durant, Durant is just getting so much help that he's got free shots and free trips to the lane. Don't get me wrong, Durant is an incredible player - but this whole new The Coli wave of 'Durant is better than LeBron' hasn't figured out yet that this is a team sport where team mates actually influence your ability to perform well..

Look at this shyt ya'll. :mjlol: Look how they're trying to flip the narrative now that Cleveland is getting their shyt pushed back. :russ:

Compare that post to this one he made in March:

The difference between any team LeBron James is on (Cavs, Heat or Cavs again) and the Warriors is that they have LeBron.

LeBron, besides being on an underappreciated-now-but-will-never-be-duplicated-again string of Finals appearances, has the ability to make his team mates WAY better during the Playoffs, Finals and specifically (and here is where the Heat and Cavs with LeBron are so different from the Warriors) when they have their back against the wall and everybody wants them to lose.

No team in history gained more fans in a short period based on the hate for the success of another player than the Warriors.

The average bandwagon Warriors fan would've now been a Clippers fan had the Clippers beat the Cavs.

What does it say about people when the average person who does not live in Oakland becomes a Warriors fan because they are uncomfortable with and jealous of the greatness of a black athlete?

Yes. This goes for black bandwagon fans too.

Same mf'er that is trying to mess up your career at work, same person that becomes a Warriors fan.

Haters gon' hate.

Cavs in 6.

:russ:

nikka went from "LeBron has the ability to make his teammates play way better in the playoffs" to "this is a team sport where your teammates influence your ability to play well.":russ::russ::russ::russ::russ:
