KD has the better team. Having said that, I agree with OP in that there's been a few possessions in which KD got the better of LBJ on offense, and where KD handled him defensively. As well as LBJ is playing offensively, I've never seen LBJ in his career look so vulnerable on defense. Game 1 KD has LBJ sliding on the floor on a closeout, game 2 he's breezing past LBJ and pulling up with confidence.

A better analogy would be lbj vs steph last year. Coming into the finals last year steph had the mvp, he just came back from 3-1 against OKC, they were defending champs, all they were talking about is steph being the best player in the league, and then LeBron comes in and reasserts his number1 spot in the NBA.

Coming into this finals, all we're hearing about is all the records LBJ's broken in these playoffs, his placement among the greats. Questions about if he's better than MJ. Everyone saying he's leaps and bounds the best player in the league and how Hardin, Westbrook, and Kawhi being eliminated in the playoffs, makes it unanimous that lbj is clearly the best player in the league. All the while KD' s lurking in the licking his chops.
That's a result of KD being unguardable and Bron being 32. He doesn't have the Stamina or Athleticism any more to solo guard Steph or KD in the 3rd or 4th quarter.

It never does..
Only when the Cavs win then it has EVERYTHING to do with Lebron.. this is why bronsexuals basketball opinions get written off.
cavs win BECAUSE OF lebron how is this a hard concept ?

nikka please. LeBron is balling. KD is balling too. But Durant has the clearly better team around him and doesn't have to be the center of everything but can pick his spots. When he goes a few possessions without the ball Curry and the rest handle business. When LeBron does the Cavs don't get good shots.

That problem lies solely on LeBron. Every team he plays on is centered around him and that ISO ball that he loves to run. When he's not playing the team struggles because they're not used to having plays run for them, nor are their strengths maximized in such a limited offense that literally just consists of isolations, pick-and-rolls and running "whoever offense" on the weakest defender on the opposing team (e.g. Lance Stephenson in ECR1 and Steph Curry this year and last year). They have the worst offensive sets in the league by far.

We saw the Spurs defeat the Rockets in 6 in spite of Kawhi being injured and LA struggling offense because they actually run plays that maximize each individuals strengths. Bron would never sacrifice playing ISO ball even if it means that the rest of his team outside of Love and Kyrie have to suffer because it would prevent him from putting up those pretty triple-double stats his fans love to boast about.

I'm trying to figure out how Bron got a rep as even a decent defender...because of a few spectacular looking chase-down blocks over his career? Because he let Derrick Rose take jumpshots in 2011 when Rose couldn't shoot worth shyt anyway? Who has he locked down? How can he "set the tone" for Cleveland defensively when he's not a great defender?

Bron has always been a great weakside help defender and fastbreak defender but has never been a great 1 on 1 defender ala MJ/Kobe.. dude has been trash defensively against Durant.

I will say this, that injury towards the end of the year was a blessing in disguise for KD. He was well rested and this is the first time all year he's turned on the jets. It was very apparent to me how much he was coasting through the Jazz and Spurs series. Dude was playing at 60% and still putting up 25ppg on 55-60% shooting. This is the best I've ever seen him play and the extra motivation going against Bron is pushing him to even higher places.
