:banderas:Big facts.

Anybody that saw Bean's career at his absolute peak ('02-'07) , like actually witnessed it and not read box scores in retrospect , knows there ain't ever been more than maybe 3 nikkas to ever lace em up that's better. Talent for talent.

And that includes Bron Bron :yeshrug:

I've been watching basketball consistently since 1997. My earliest memory being that year's playoffs. And there ain't been a single ATHLETE I have seen since then that comes close to Kobe. In terms of basketball players, its not even close. He's the best by a mile.

Now I say that with the caveat that I never saw Jordan in his true prime. So I'm just comparing Kobe to a 34-35 year old Jordan so its not a fair comparison. From the tape I've seen, prime Jordan (1992-93) looks better than prime Kobe (2002-03). But not by much.

Lol.so his Mount Rushmore is...MJ, Kobe, Kareem, Bird.....I can take this idiot seriously.

What's dumb about that? Those are 4 bonafide all-time greats. Kareem got arguably the best resume. And Bird (before the back issues) was a problem. Kobe and Mike are obviously a given.

You acting like he named some nobodies. That's a legit top 4. I personally disagree with 2 of the names on the list (Kareem and Bird) but not enough to call KD an idiot.

The very next post

The most ridiculous allegation from these box score revisionists is the idea Kobe wasn't dope in the 2000 NBA Finals. I honestly was surprised when I first saw those finals stats cause even I forgot Kobe got hurt that series. Plus my lasting memory of Kobe in the 2000 finals was of his performance in Game 5 after Shaq fouled out. That was when I realized this guy was gonna be the best player in the NBA one day.

These stat nerd revisionists love to ignore the fact Kobe injured his ankle severely early on in game 2 of the Finals (which fukked up his averages). Then he misses game 3 (which the Lakers lost). And then plays Game 4-6 on a severely sprained ankle which usually keeps guys out for weeks. And even then with a bad ankle, he still had the clutch game-winning performance in the pivotal Game 5 that swung the series and ultimately the championship for the Lakers after Shaq fouled out.

The 2000 NBA Finals was an incredible performance by Kobe when you consider the context and were actually ALIVE and witnessed what actually happened rather than just reading stats of basketball reference.

The debate is Bron and MJ. Kobe stans still grasping for straws. :russ:

Maybe according to white nerds in the media.

But most black NBA players agree with KD. Look no further than Iverson, T-Mac, and Vince Carter who said similar things during the playoffs.

The media have this as Bron vs MJ. But who cares what some crakkka who never played think. The guys who actually know the game (NBA players) are on the side of the Kobe stans. They say the real debate is Kobe vs Jordan. With LeBron being the guy on outside looking in.

Tell a guy with more mvps and fmvps than you to past you brehs:mjlol:

lebron and kobe debate was done when bron came back from 3- 1.

Just cause you say something doesn't make it true. Most NBA players still have Kobe ranked ahead of LeBron cause they actually value skill and ability over media fabricated talking points. That Warriors team was nothing special. The fact LeBron fell down 3-1 to them was embarrassing. All he did that year was what he was supposed to do. Which was beat a vastly inferior team. And really it was Kyrie that hit the game-winning shot. LeBron was like the rest of us when that game was being decided. He was watching Kyrie hit the shot of a lifetime.

....yeah nobody cares what KD thinks :pachaha:

Kevin Durant is one of the 10 greatest basketball players of the last 25-30 years. His opinion on his PEERS (aka other great NBA players) is very relevant.

His opinion on this topic holds more weight than any media person or fan. The players are the best at judging their PEERS greatness.

IMO it was done in 2013, when Bron matched Kobe with the same amount of rings as the best player,

having wayyy more MVPs, and already having multiple better seasons better than Kobe's best :ehh:

Haha. 1 shot decided the game? They won by 4 points technically speaking and Lebron carried the team on his back the entire game and series
