KD is looking like the best player in the game. I love Lebron and GSW is obviously the better team but Durant having less weight and responsibility on offense has made him into a terror on defense.

Him and Curry are probably the most deadly duo I've seen in a long time.

All this talking is pointless breh, this would be a whole different series if the so called GOAT player could hold KD to under 20 points and slow the game down. He can't. That's why they're losing. And that's why he's not really the GOAT. He's getting beat one on one on every challenge. That can't happen if you are claiming to be chasing Jordan's show and stans are stating you are better than Kobe.

Kawhi a great defender, right? Why KD Drop 41 and 37 on him last year in the playoffs in crucial games?

this is the only argument I have with @Gil Scott-Heroin

Durant was the MVP of the league this year before he got hurt.

Gonna get that Finals MVP :blessed:

Curry gonna be 0 for 3 :sas2:

If you look at his efficiency numbers pre-Golden State, Durant is a top 5 player in terms of overall efficiency. To give you an idea of how good a player Durant was before he went to Golden State, he was more efficicient than both James Harden AND Westbrook:

The Oklahoma City Shakeup: Should We Have Seen the Breakouts Coming?

So Durant's NERD, his overall player contribution on the floor, was better than Westbrook and Harden's before he went to Golden State. In Game 1 vs. the Cavaliers, Durant shot a dizzying 38 points with no turnovers. The argument has been made that Curry opened space up for Durant's dunks, but only about 50% of Durant's points came from dunks. The rest of his game was just Durant being Durant respectively:

And so on. Everything considered, it's easy to understand how Golden State is beating the Cavs. Durant's transformational talent is blossoming, same as it did in college and in OKC. He is carrying the Golden State Warriors to the NBA Championship without getting the accolades for it. Some might say this is selfless of him to forgo personal glory for team glory, but this isn't war. It's basketball. Durant will win a NBA champion's trophy but it'll be made of tin because he didn't win it himself---when he very well could have with the right squad. He chooses to play second fiddle when Durant is the one leading the orchestra. Durant is a true servant to the game but he is a general wearing a private's vest.

KD was great last year as well, it's just that instead of battling his own teammate in addition to others, he has 3 other guys that can battle for him. He's basically X-Pac joining Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan. Neither of those 3 need him, but he's cool to have. Great power play by the Warriors to destroy their comp practically from the inside so they wouldn't have to worry about them later on :pachaha:

Jalen just said it......two league MVP's under the age of 30....IT HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE IN THE LEAGUE.......(plus allstar role players) just isn't respect worthy ....I'm sorry:francis:
Ya motherfukkers got amnesia on what the warriors really were last year. I mean they got some bad breaks in the finals, and Lebron stepped up, but before that they won 73 games. Lost 9 times in the entire season. Even if Durant is killing Lebron, How much is he really worth to the team? Do the cavs really have a chance to repeat without the suspension, and with a healthy Curry? He's having his finest moment in an incredibly low risk setting. If he goes cold, steph klay and draymond can get it done

KD is the best player on the Warriors .. but this shyt right here :usure:only 50% of his points. how many players would kill for that :comeon: n1kka, steph the reason why he came there. you cant double KD anymore. not with defenders staying with klay or curry.
