We show huge support for the Thunder BUT OU is, if not the biggest, one of the biggest things in Oklahoma sports/life....period. And may always be. We only care about "tradition" and winning history here & they personify that in the state. You can catch most people in OKC/Tulsa/Lawton/etc wearing Sooner gear any day of the year and everywhere.

As far as KD, he's stated that he isn't leaving so I take him at his words. His actions surely don't contradict his statements. But if he does leave, so what!? We'll eventually get another star. Can't say if others feel the way I do but I think I'm looking at the bigger picture. Hell, the first season in OKC they were 23-59. We never imagined the team being this good in such a short time anyway. I think we're more patient as fans than the players with everything :pachaha:.

Also, life here isn't for everybody:yeshrug:. It's more of a place to raise a family and chill, outside of the more ratchet/hood areas.

Yep OU is number 1, But they both coexist with each other very well, Thunder players have been seen at OU games and vice versa.

Man KD or Westbrook are not gonna leave ....Im in OKC also ... people who have never been here think we have tumble weeds blowing down the streets, You have Okc, Norman, Stillwater, and Tulsa repping the teams , yes we have clubs, yes we have plenty of blacks here "Charles Barkley", Langston University a HBCU -my school . Hell during season they are on the road all the time and when summer comes they usually travel both to Cali or Maryland. If they when a title in the next 3 years, which I say other than Heat they will be favorite to win.

Man I just moved out here from Dallas a few months back for school. And Durant is like a damn KING out here!! EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE wears his gear from shoes, socks, shorts, shirts, bracelets, jerseys. It's crazy I went to the mall yesterday and I saw old white dudes, in their 40s, with some KDs on :ohhh: old white grandpas and grandmas with Durant shirts on ish blew my mind They absolute love him out here. He's in a state with no other professional team dude could run of governor and win. He has cacs eating out of his hand like some animals :wow:

No way he'll ever leave for a big market and have to share his spotlight with some NFL, MLB cats. Call me crazy but he's probably bigger in OKC than Lebron is in Miami and he hasn't even brought a championship here yet
How much money does he get from them sales though? :smh:
Let that boy eat.

Dude said he sees Westbrook in Golden State, absolutely NO WAY that happens. You're talking about having to trade Curry for him and no way om Earth would Golden State fans be happy about that. I can hear Blackthoughts sharpening his knife right now.

If curry keeps getting hurt he could be traded for another star

I think they got to win before either the KD or Westbrook contract runs out which ever one is first. I can't imaging them both signing for another 5 years both at max in OKC sharing the stardom. I can see Roc Nation trying to get KD to the east coast and Westbrook going to LA to replace Kobe...

If the Wizards make the moves, they have the best chance to get KD in Free Agency. He spends all his offseason time back home in Maryland and I'm sure he would love to play for the franchise he grew up rooting for.
