Tbh... what JR did was stupid but I kinda figured he brought the ball thinking they were going call timeout.

They had one

The thing is, nobody else was thinking timeout and he didn’t call it himself...

Oh well

Because he has to defer to Lebron on everything

They should make them replay the game with 1 second left on the clock since once again, you bytch ass nikkas cryin over spilled milk :beli:

Then will tune in again, whine again when things don’t go your way, rinse then repeat.

Time to move on to game 2 :umad:

Stop making excuses for all them nikkas then lmao... nikka needed possession of the ball. KD was right there trying to snatch his shyt.

There were 5 other nikkas on the court including Lue, their coach, who could’ve called timeout.

No excuses for none of these nikkas idgaf about this team

You nikkas always looking for a scapegoat.

-Bron could’ve not played Bronball all game

-Hill could’ve hit his FT’s

-JR could’ve put it back up

-the entire team could’ve called timeout

-Cavs could’ve not got blown out in OT

Stop acting like none of these nikkas had opportunities to win the game
This nikka talking bout "Bron ball" like that was a problem last night. Kobe stans I tell ya. :russ::russ::russ:

Kerr and Draymond tried calling a timeout as well during the Houston series and the refs didn't give it. I know they have a hard job and can't see everything but it definitely seems like they are missing things that are in plain sight. What's the point of having 3 refs on the court if they're all watching the player with the ball?

Funny thing is if you go watch that play every ref is looking at Klay :mjlol:

Straight up that one play kind of changed how I watch basketball cause in close games down the stretch I aint even watching the players I'm watching the refs to see what they are looking at...

I think you hit the nail on the head here :francis:
Lebron's teammates aren't really empowered or prepared to make those sorts of decisions :francis:

I mentioned in another thread - you have to practice these late-game situations relentlessly so that decisions become muscle memory and everyone is on the same page. Under enormous pressure, and with all the crowd noise and cameras flashing, its real easy for someone to blank out. You really don't want to have to rely on someone thinking in these situations. Especially not JR Smith:snoop:
The military does that sort of training to make sure soldiers can still function effectively in high-stress, life-or-death situations. Doctors as well. Well-coached sports teams do it too. :manny:

man people have been arguing what the refs did didn't do, what Jr did and didn't do...all that is debatable...

but when the game was even steven in OT, the Cavs flopped.

Face it, the better team won

Didn't Draymond also try to call a timeout in one of the final games in the Houston series?:ohhh:

Someone should have been yelling to the refs face for a timeout the moment jr caught that ball
Nah, everyone probably assumed he’d just put it back up. I thought he was dribbling out to create space for a jump shot or shoot at the buzzer. By the time you realize this stupid motherfukker doesn’t know the score of the game it’s too late.

I hear you, but JR has been in the league 14 years and has only played 2 with Bron. If it were a rookie or 2nd year player I could understand. As a 14 year vet, in a finals game, he has to know time & score
