I was curious because I keep mine around 72-73 F

But I was reading that they recommended it at 78F. That seems way too hot.

Where do yall keep yours at during day and at night?

According to the department of energy..idk I wouldn't be able to sleep at night being that hot. That's almost 80 degrees in the house trying to sleep lol

I'm in Houston. It's hot as hell. The devil down here got bonnet bytches twerking on car roofs. Heat waves everywhere.

74 during the day and 70 at night for cuddle action.

That's so your A/C doesn't kill your wallet. The lower the temp, the harder your A/C has to work, and more electricity it uses. Also, most of you have your thermostats in the wrong place so, instead of measuring the indoor temp, it's actually measuring the temp in the wall it's mounted on.

During the day 74/75. At night 68, because I need the arctic air to sleep

I was at my mom's house last week during the heatwave and she had hers on 78. I will say it wasn't unbearably hot but it wasn't cool either. She hates AC and has ceiling fans

There's something wrong with your house if you can only be comfortable at 70°. I bet your A/C runs for a LONG time before cycling-off and your electricity bill during the summer is a couple hundred/month.
