This news just hit me like a ton of bricks, I'm legit sad. I kid you not I was JUST watching the mixed tag match with him and Savage from WM 6 two days ago, not to mention we all just saw Heyman's impression of him on Austin's podcast a couple weeks ago. Thats what makes it seem even worst, because he's been on all our minds in some form or fashion recently, hell he was just involved in current WWE storylines not long ago so it's not like we lost some old timer from yesteryear, he may as well as been someone from the current roster cause of how current he was...I swear it feels like a family member when someone in the business of his magnitude passes...R.I.P. Dream

TMZ reports that Dusty Rhodes was focused on improving his health as recently as last week. Jerry Brisco told the site that he hung out with Rhodes in Orlando last Thursday and that Rhodes was talking about how he had been going to the doctor regularly. The late WWE/NWA legend told Brisco that he needed to bring his blood pressure down and that his weight loss was helping with that.

Brisco said that he and Rhodes were planning to go to event tonight night in Tampa, Florida in order to raise money for a wrestling “wall of fame.” Brisco is still attending so that he can get together with wrestlers and fans to share Dusty stories, even if it won’t be the same without him there.
