Fair enough. To each his own. I'm white so maybe that has something to do with it. I dont hit up clubs anymore really... so essentially when I go out, its to go chill at a bar or something.
theres a spot on AIA, right before you get to Sawgrass.. forgot the name, but I believe its Wednesday(possibly, Thursday) they have ladies night and females get free martinis..
I lived out there a few years ago, and it just wasnt for me.. whatsoever.. lived on 2nd, between 14th & 15th N. right behind the Kangaroo.. had a house off 9th Ave & 4th St N too.. too redundant, and the people are too sheltered for me..
I remember back in the day, this girl came to my house that lived at the beach.. and, she was tripping because she never seen a train before.. mind you, she was 18/19..

oh nah its shyt at that beach...i was out there last weekend, they got the Ritz, The Pier, The Beach aka The Old Chicago Pizza, all that shyt free ta get in and they give u big cups of liquor for like $5.50 and u see plenty of bad beckies,exotic hoes, just diff hoes period..only thing is they not finna play all the music u want, its gonna be a mix, but after u gett faded and get roun some hoes who cares tho...now if u like seeing the same shyt then Pure and the rest of the typical spots is the place ta go

Also, when there are festivals going on... shyt can get pretty crazy. The beaches definitely have their own culture. It just may not be for everyone.

yea it aint for everybody....me im the type that can blend in anywhere and vibe to any type of music except country...so as long as the drinks is flowin wit big cups for $5 and the entry is fee and the ladies is right then im in there....plus the ratio of women at the beach clubs be like 5 women ta 1 guy, u go to Pure,Plush,Vixens etc...it be a str8 sausage fest, a club fulla nikkas standin roun lookin like they too cool ta move, plus black clubs always tryna hustle a nikka by taxin too much ta get in and $10 for a small cup of remy/pineapple or ciroc/pineapple.....the beach got big healthy cups for the stupid low and them white/exotic girls eyes get big when a nikka slide thru
all them places you named, are on the same block.. the same people rotate, to all them places.. i know the cats who own Ritz, Chicago Pizza and that whole strip of building where the Atlantic is/was.. besides Ritz- aint nothing poppin out there.. why you think they keep rotating the names of the spots, and the owners every few months..?
i lived on the beach side of 2nd.. tan condos.. this girl I grew up with, her parents owns it.. this was 2 Summers ago..
I got alot of people at the beach.. just aint my cup of tea.. to each their own, tho.. one of my folks just started doing a reggae joint at the beach, said its been popping tho..
the spot right behind buckets, on 1st.. i forgot the name of it, they change the names of places so much..
Only clubs I genuinely had fun at was the various late night spots that keep getting shut down
(After 11, Late Night, The Grand) They stay open to like 6 or 7, sell alcohol (even malt liquor 
) and you can blaze
But these spots be SUPER hood, so they not for everybody. It's funny though, I never seen as much as a fight in the late night spots, nikkas be chilling. Plus all of them got a dirty cop on duty, but he be in uniform. (He's dirty because these operations are illegal and break just about every code there is 
)
I like the Real Ting too, cause you can blaze and just vibe out to the Reggae. It stays open till like 4 or 5. That 2 o clock shyt always pissed me off

this cat knows the deal.. the after hours spots, are some of the best spots in Jax.. less knockleheads.. better music.. plus, you don't gotta quit drinking when their clock says 1:50.. btw, alot of them bars set their clocks 15-20min ahead..
