The only shyt that ain't on the internet is on either VHS and DVD I still buy both for that reason no choice really Blu Ray flopped

Blu Ray really did flop, but not as bad as HD discs. And if you think about it, there was really no reason for BR to flop. It came out within the same timeframe as DVDs, so it should've overtaken it immediately, when people were upgrading from VHS.

I still have my DVDs, but i mostly got rid of the ones I upgraded. Some movies, like comedies, just aren’t worth an upgrade. I’ll buy them if they’re cheap and a movie i want though.
I would say most aren't worth the upgrade. Maybe like really visually appealing stuff (Planet Earth type thing) or ones heavy on special effects, other than that I don't care if it's in HD.

Yea, that’s how I originally set out in upgrading or not.

But I’d also like to upgrade for space issues. Blus are more compact.

Of course, most movies aren't worth actually buying anyways. 99% of stuff has little to no rewatch value so what's the point of buying it when you can rent it for like half the price or less?

Haven't touched a DVD in years...... The thought of even opening a DVD box.. Pushing the little button in the center to make it pop up... Walking over to a DVD player to put it in and pressing play.... Sickens me just to imagine it.... :scust:

lol at the extreme disgust:Mjtithes:

But I agree. Go to somebody's house and they pop in a dvd....have me like, "You live like this?:hhh:"

Another thing not pointed out is dvds are sold as bundles. Especially movies with sequels. Blu-Ray isn’t doing that right now and simply more people have DVD players than BRs. :yeshrug:
