I'm a spoiled ass nikka who only watches HD shyt. Sometimes I can settle for that DVDrip if I cant find a good HD link, so I'm just wondering how does the screener quality compare to DVDRips? Lot of good movies that are still in theatres but have that Screener shyt, to the point where I'm like :manny: and trying to download it. But if its even more wack than DVDRip I'm not going to bother..

Let me know brehss

Screeners are weaker. Depends on the flick too. I struggled with the Lincoln rip because I couldnt see shyt half the time with all the dark colors.

DVDRip is without a doubt better than screeners. Screeners will often contain an unfinished version of the movie or will have a copyright watermark logo on them. Screeners will often have the incorrect aspect ratio and will definitely have inferior Video & Audio quality compared to a retail DVDRip Just wait for the 1080p blu-ray rip to come out.

I only get those if I'm trying to add to the collection. I try to stay under 3 gigs though.

And all of them shyts are hit or miss because you don't know what you getting until after you download it.
I always look at the file dimensions before I DL. That's usually put in the description before hand.

I'm with you though, I don't like DL'ing the 3-4 gig movies
