When Hansbrough is out playing him you cant go with Val....He gets outplayed by bench scrubs i thnk that should be concerning for some raptor fans that still believe hes a building block...

Im for letting him play thru mistakes but this coach and team is still trying to win games and you cant leave him in there in close games when he allows easy baskets and isnt doing shyt offensively....

i agree with that. he's been fairly disappointing this year but i personally never really expected him to be a star center like a lot of fans did.

however i do think if you're gonna tank (which we should be doing imo), you might as well throw your young prospects to the wolves while you're doing it. you have nothing to lose in that situation. keeping val on a short leash isn't really helping him.

:comeon: Don't give me that look...

There were like 3 defenders around the key stopping another play like this:

T-Dot obviously tried to spread the floor to get the same traction(do that same move). But :rudy: knew it wouldn't work, sohh his tunnel vision saw an open man, sohh he kicked it out to Amir. Had that been TR or Novak, it would have went in. Or if Amir was at least in within mid range. It would have went in...

But the blame is solely on Casey for having Amir in...

Yea I believe you. That  was the look on my face after reading it. Raptors aren't serious contenders this year but they might make the playoffs just by being in the eastern conference. He probably gets fired at the end of the season.

why would the raptors trade derozan?

I'd keep him.

Val is fine, he'll be OK....opnce casey is gone. He jsut needs time on the court to figure it all out.
he's being treated the same way bargs was when he was young and it fukked up his confidence.

they have to LET him make mistakes and play through them...not just yank him after one bad play. that makes him second guess everything he does and hes out on the court thinking to much instead of just playing.

Casey is so horrible for player development....an in fact the whole franchise has been like that for a long time.

idiots.

man dwane gotta go, i got jonas on my fantasy squad and he's been terrible so far (because casey plays bums like hansbrough and amir johnson over jonas). honestly i kno a bunch of craptors fans want to trade rudy gay, but yall aint gettin shyt back for him (if anyone will even take that contract).

JV actually getting more time than Amir who was recently taken to the bench. Hansbrough actually is a big bargain and probably the hardest working player on the team, he should be up for a 6th man award.

JV never gets fed the ball is the problem

Question, is Wesley Matthews a legit starting SG calibre player?

Not poking fun just want to know.
Yes. He's good on both sides of the ball. He's an excellent defender, and a great scorer. Matter of fact last night, when :russ: was bossing around Lillard on D, Wes stepped a few times to cover :russ: during clutch possessions. Though undersized he has no problem with stepping up to guard much bigger defenders than him at times, like KD.

As much as I hate to rely on stats, early into the season he's already averaging some insane numbers on offense...

He's @ .500 for 3pt FG and .534 overall.
