First off. It's not the cavs that knocked the heat off in the conference finals.

Second Bron and Wade are friends not the seemingly bitter rivals KD and steph were 3 weeks ago

Third. Wade is leaving behind a team that couldn't even make the playoffs.

Fourth. Wade has not gone on record ridiculing other players for jumping on a bandwagon team.

Fifth, Wade is past his prime.

And lastly, this deal is more of a response to the KD one. Had KD not gone to the Warriors then people would be questioning this move a lot more.


But you knew all that and instead chose to play dumb here

not even comparable. wade is in talks with cleveland because he feels betrayed by the heat. I think dude got caught up in the whole "heat family" mantra....he really believed they would return the favor to him for taking a pay cut to deliver lebron and and CB. now he realizes what they're really about. if heat offered him 2 years for 20 off the bat he prolly woulda taken it. but they hit him with that disgraceful offer to start and dude took it as a slap in the face. not to mention how they made him sit on the sideline while they chased durant, even though everybody knew they had no chance. if the heat got durant, they woulda been left with chump change to sign wade. heat treated the goat player in franchise history as a last resort and he has a right to be pissed. this isn't even close to the durant situation.
