From a business and close to end of career position..... why now?
I mean lets think about this for a moment..... with his current Mia, they still not better than the Cavs, but excluding them, probably couldnt beat Toronto and Knicks may have just gotten better than them.
And if they cant beat them teams..... they definitely have no chance to compete against any of the top 6 teams in the West show they by some miracle was able to get to the finals.
If the game is really about championships then why waste the last few years of your career of some "going no where" team. Not having fun and just going through the motions till the 82 games is up only to watch your friends play more, make a little extra cash, and have the opportunity that you can only dream of?
That GS move kind of a game changer.
Looking at this from say a NBA2k16 perspective.....
GSW is a #1 ranked team...... and they just added a player with a 94 rating to they squad and at worse thus far lost a player ranked 77.
Wade is the biggest star and best player on his team and his rating at this point in his career is an 88. Cant compete with that, no point in wasting time

Dwayne REALLY wants that money like that? I can't imagine not wanting to win a championship from Dwayne Wade. Cleveland is literally the only other team outside of GSW that has anything of a chance to win and I'll go so far as to say they're the favorite if Wade goes there
