Don't know that it's worth it, especially not with that roster, but he got his money :francis:
Saw this on facebook earlier. :wow:
You swore allegiance to House of Wade, Lord Riley. But in his hour of greatest need, you refuse the call. And you, Lord Spoelstra, watched on as you got out coached by Dwane Casey, still, you refuse the call. But House Mormont remembers. The South remembers. We know no king but the King in the South whose name is Wade. I don’t care if he’s older and wants more money. A three time champ's blood runs through his veins. He’s my king, from this day until his last day!”

However, today is like if they would have ended up turning on Snowman again :heh:

I get why some of yall would criticize what the Bulls are doing - any questions about spacing, yeah, I get it

but ya'll need to understand that this franchise needed a signing like this. Needed to shed that image big names didnt want to come here (which was already false) and needed to build some goodwill back with players around the league, who now are able to dictate their every move.

Its a two year relationship that could help this franchise for many years to come, and perhaps as early as next summer if Wade can help recruit another max player to sign here to play with him, Jimmy & our young guys.

Its not perfect, but its something this franchise needed. Yall cant be the same ones every year saying the Bulls cant sign big names, people dont respect the Bulls FO, etc, etc and then shyt on this move. Yall non Bulls fans dont understand just how lowly our respeck levels got around the league

Would have been amazing if they kept DRose and rode with him - but still, this was a nice stepping stone for our franchise

Hopefully it yields a big name player to sign here next summer at a max contract

Yep I heard people are happy up there that they got the hometown kid

It's about respect and pride also. I felt they lost him once they threw out that 10 mil per offer. You just don't do that. Not to a player as loyal as him. Pat Riley wouldn't have any of those 3 Miami rings without Wade. Bron's not going to Miami without Wade, neither is Bosh. For what he means to that city, to that franchise to treat him in such a manner, like a complete afterthought. To lowball him like that? says a lot. If I'm a big name FA, I don't want to go to Miami after the way they treated Wade. No way

Christmas gon be

Pacers Celtics (ESPN, noon start)
Bulls Knicks (ABC 1/2)
Cavs Warriors (5pm Eastern, ABC 2/2)
Spurs Clippers (TNT 1/2))
Any combo of Portland/Houston/OKC (TNT 2/2)

I'd be surprised if opening night on TNT wasn't Knicks vs Cavs. They like pairing DRose vs Lebron to start the season. And now with Carmelo and the others, it'd be a no brainer. I could see Bulls Heat opening up the next night on ESPN though.

Hawks might get that Christmas look with Dwight over Portland or OKC. Rockets vs. Hawks fukkery would be :troll:
